I hardly ever do this sort of manipulation in Photoshop, but the effect seems to complement the layout of this pano in particular. The center of the pic with all the greenery is Weehawken, NJ (where the picture was taken) and the perimeter of the “globe” is of course - NYC. Thanks to Dirk for the technique.
