Steve - agreed. Though in theory we are supposed to be thinking about ‘ourselves’ when we vote. Govt’ of the people by the people or somethin’ like that. I dunno - the media spin on the whole election has gotten a bit out of hand. As far as the celebs are concerned, it’s unfortunate that some kids/people will only vote if Hollywood and the Music Industry tell them to do so. In this case though, I think the ends justify the means. I was just trying to capture some sort of meaningful and relevant shot for today. Hope I’ve done that.
Jimmie & Steve…just to continue the discussion a bit further, I’m amazed at the use of Paris Hilton to inspire young voters…WTF…and the message “vote or die” just seems juvenile to me. Jimmie…I think I took this very same shot a couple weeks ago…was this in the West 50’s or somewhere like that?
